Sandy Place is located in St Lucia, on the far north KwaZulu-Natal coast. It isa breathtaking patchwork of different environments, creating a place of beauty and wonder so that, from wetlands and savannah to spectacular coastline, the resort has it all. Stroll along swathes of pristine golden sand fringed on onside with lush green vegetation and on the other the blue waters of the ocean. Unforgettable! The comfortable, fully self-catering accommodation provides a comfortable and peaceful base from which to explore St Lucia. Relax and rejuvenate by the cool swimming pool or strap on your walking boots and go for a guided hike or nature walk the views are incredible. And, of course, a game of Giant Chess is always fun!
The Wetland Earth Spa is an oasis of me time’. For those that like a faster pace of life, you’ll love a quad-bike tour it’s an exciting way to discover the area. If you fancy yourself with a rod and reel, the lake at the St Lucia estuary isa fisherman’s paradise, as the waters attract a huge variety of fish species.The Greater St Lucia Wetland is a world-heritage site and is excellent for big game spotting – black rhino, hippo, buffalo and leopard are just a few of the local residents you’re likely to encounter. Cape Vidol is a manageable 35 km drive from the resort, but the rewards for the adventurous are spectacular diving and snorkeling in clear, blue waters. If you’re after an African adventure you won’t forget in a hurry, Sandy Place is an excellent choice.
A refundable breakage deposit and a one-off service pay are payable at check-in. The area experiences water restrictions from time to time and guests should contact the resort directly for further information. The water supply could at any time : 1 )Have very low pressure; 2) Be discolored; 3) Have cold water, but no hot water.
General: All complaints regarding resorts should be directed to the resorts itself and Timeshare Sentinel will not be held liable for any complaints regarding the quality of accommodation, services, facilities and another complaints relevant to the resort. The providers of the accommodation on the Timeshare Sentinel website are independent bodies and not agents or employees of Timeshare Sentinel. Timeshare Sentinel will not refund in the event of double reservations, strike, force majeure (hurricanes, flooding, earthquake, etc.) or other causes beyond their direct control (disruptions in water supply, power outages etc.), and will have no responsibility for any additional expense, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority. The user shall be bound by the resort rules and the use agreement applicable between the member/shareholder and the Resort/Share block/Points Club. Timeshare Sentinel will not be held responsible for any incorrect information supplied with regards to the resort not due to Timeshare Sentinel’s negligence. The resort reserves the right to refuse admittance if the booking confirmation letter is not produced, or if the number of persons exceeds that shown on the confirmation letter/unit configuration. Persons allowed include children of all ages. Check-in will only be allowed on presentation of a valid confirmation letter and corresponding guest ID (Member Reservations & Guest Certificates). Timeshare Sentinel does not take responsibility for any accommodation purchased from a second or third party or incorrect information supplied by a second/third party. On selling of Timeshare Sentinel inventory is strictly prohibited which will result in termination of membership as well as cancellation of all reservations with full forfeiture of amounts paid.
Please be aware that this resort is situated in an area where there are numerous wild animals (hippo, crocodiles, etc). Caution is advised.
It is advised to bring your own drinking water, or it can be purchased from the office in 5-litre containers.
The units are serviced daily, except on Sundays and public holidays.
Unit Assignment: The resort has the right to assign a different unit of the same occupancy to the one originally allocated. Should a unit number not appear on your reservation letter, one will be assigned to you by the resort on arrival.
