And the Bushman’s Nek Berg and Trout Resort is the perfect base from which to explore the misty magic of the Southern Drakensberg. Its full of wide-open spaces and an absence of crowds. Theres little like a returning to a warm, open fire when theres a chill in the air and each self-contained unit has their own fireplace! Its a great way to pass some time, especially when you’re sipping a great South African red and are surrounded by panoramic mountain views.
For entertainment, there are hikes into the countryside to discover the unique mountain flora, fauna and abundant bird life. Try your hand at trout fishing in the resort’s well-stocked dam. Theres plenty to do for everyone – from adrenaline junkies to seekers of the more sedate: Paintball, horse riding, tennis, bowls, table tennis, pool tables, action cricket, darts, squash,
badminton, volleyball, mini golf and a selection of pamper treatments at the resort’s wellness center. A big-screen TV keeps sports fans and newshounds happy, while kids love tractor
trips to the farmyard, board games and the jungle gym. The resort also runs a shuttle service to a crystal waterfall on a scenic river, where the water is as clear as the mountain air. Take a longer hike with a Registered Guide to view mysterious caves adorned with Bushman-San paintings. You’ll never run out of things to do at Bushmans Nek only time in which to do it!

The user shall be bound by the resort rules and the use agreement applicable between the member/shareholder and the
Resort/Share block/Points Club. Timeshare Sentinel will not be held responsible for any incorrect information supplied with regards to the resort not due to Timeshare Sentinel’s negligence. The resort reserves the right to refuse admittance if the booking confirmation letter is not produced, or if the number of persons exceeds that shown on the confirmation letter/unit configuration. Persons allowed include children of all ages. Check-in will only be allowed on presentation of a valid confirmation letter and corresponding guest ID (Member Reservations & Guest Certificates). Timeshare Sentinel does not take responsibility for any accommodation purchased from a second or third party or incorrect information supplied by a second/third party. On selling of Timeshare Sentinel inventory is strictly prohibited which will result in termination of membership as well as cancellation of all with full forfeiture of amounts paid.

All South Africans now need a passport to drive through the full Sani Pass route, even if they have no intention of traveling into Lesotho (The pass is still within the boundaries of South Africa).
There is a 33 km dirt road leading to the resort. it is well maintained and the resort can be reached by any 2×4 vehicle, even if the vehicle has low-profile tyres.
Unit Assignment: The resort has the right to assign a different unit of the same occupancy to the one originally allocated. Should a unit number not appear on your reservation letter, one will be assigned to you by the resort on arrival.
