There are eight well-stocked trout dams and the productive Swartwaterspruit and Komati Rivers run through the reserve. Theres even a fly shop! Bring your own tackle or hire some. Share fishing stories at the clubhouse,where you’ll find a tuck shop, a sun-drenched pool deck and a TV room with DSTV, so you dont miss any big games. For those who don’t fish, you’ll find everything from a sparkling pool to children’s play equipment, full tennis courts, a pool table, a games room and a fully-equipped gym. Away from the resort, go bird watching (it’s excellent) or game spotting – from your own car, on horseback and on a hike along three well-marked scenic trails. Visit the ruins in Komati Valley and wander through the forest and the waterfalls. Bliss! The Doornkop Fish and Wildlife Reserve is so much more than just fishing.Though its a fantastic place for that too!

The user shall be bound by the resort rules and the use agreement applicable between the member/shareholder and the Resort/Share block/Points Club. The resort reserves the right to refuse admittance if the booking confirmation letter is not produced, or if the number of persons exceeds that shown on the confirmation letter/unit configuration. Persons allowed include children of all ages. Check-in will only be allowed on presentation of a valid confirmation letter and corresponding guest ID (Member Reservations & Guest Certificates). Timeshare Sentinel does not take responsibility for any accommodation purchased from a second or third party or incorrect information supplied by a second/third party. On selling of Timeshare Sentinel inventory is strictly prohibited which will result in termination of membership as well as cancellation of all reservations with full forfeiture of amounts paid.
Unit Assignment: The resort has the right to assign a different unit of the
same occupancy to the one originally allocated. Should a unit number not appear
on your reservation letter, one will be assigned to you by the resort on
arrival.
Both the cold and heated swimming pools are outdoor.
No private quad bikes allowed.
Only MTN gets mobile coverage at the resort.
Guests will be charged a per kg-kilo fee for all fish kept.
The Highlands Meander takes you to Belfast, Dullstroom, Elands Valley,
Lydenburg, Machadodorp, Skurweberg and Waterval Boven.
