You’ll find the Kiara Lodge in the majestic Maluti Mountains, nestled between the magnificent Golden Gate National Park and the village of Clarens. Lush green gardens give way to the indomitable beauty of the mountains framed, as they are, against a clear blue sky. Breathtaking! The self-catering units are extremely comfortable and the perfect base from which to explore the area. And explore you must! This is a paradise for the adventurous; who can get their adrenaline fix with a spot of white-water rafting or putting gravity to the test with a little abseiling. There are some pretty challenging 4X4 trails too! Clay pigeons have reached plague proportions around the resort, and as a result, guests are encouraged to shoot as many of them as they can.
The village of Clarens boasts fourteen, yes, that’s right, fourteen art galleries and many more craft shops. Be careful, it’s way too easy to lose half a day amidst the exquisite artifice on display, especially as there are also heaps of great coffee shops where you can refuel. Worth a visit or two! General: All complaints regarding resorts should be directed to the resorts itself and Timeshare Sentinel will not be held liable for any complaints regarding the quality of accommodation, services,facilities and any other complaints relevant to the resort. The providers of the accommodation on the Timeshare Sentinel website are independent bodies and not agentsor employees of Timeshare Sentinel. Timeshare Sentinel will not refund in the event of double reservations, strike, force majeure (hurricanes, flooding, earthquake, etc.) brother causes beyond their direct control (disruptions in water supply, power outages etc.), and will have no responsibility for any additional expense,omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority. The user shall be bound by the resort rules and the use agreement applicable between the member/shareholder and the Resort/Share block/Points Club. Timeshare Sentinel will not be held responsible for any incorrect information supplied with regards to the resort not due to Timeshare Sentinel’s negligence. The resort reserves the right to refuse admittance if the booking confirmation letter is not produced, or if the number of persons exceeds that shown on the confirmation letter/unit configuration. Persons allowed include children of all ages. Check-in will only be allowed on presentation of a valid confirmation letter and corresponding guest ID (Member Reservations & Guest Certificates). Timeshare Sentinel does not take responsibility for any accommodation purchased from a second or third party or incorrect information supplied by a second/third party. On selling of Timeshare Sentinel inventory is strictly prohibited which will result in termination of membership as well as cancellation of all reservations with full forfeiture of amounts paid.
Should your unit have a fireplace, you can purchase wood from the curio shop at
the resort.
Paddle boats are available at a fee
There is no canoeing allowed on the dam as it is only for Bass fishing.
All units have hairdryers.
The laundry is available for wash and fold only.
There is no cleaning service on Sundays and public holidays.
Unit Assignment: The resort has the right to assign a different unit of thesame occupancy to the one originally allocated. Should a unit number not appearon your reservation letter, one will be assigned to you by the resort onarrival.
