Timeshare Sentinel is owned and operated by Cheryl Gooderson Otto, on a PTY (ltd) basis.
Cheryl started out in the industry as the Sales Manager for the Fairways Timeshare Resort in the Drakensberg, thereafter she was promoted to Resort General Manager of both Fairways And Riverbend Chalets, 16 years later she rose to the position of COO (Chief Operating Officer) of The Gooderson Leisure Corporation, a JSE listed company.
In November 2011, the decision was made to start her own timeshare resale company, a dream she had been nurturing for many years.
Cheryl’s reputation for service excellence is legendary by all who have dealt with her in the South African Timeshare industry, now you can draw on her vast experience, as well as her knowledgeable and efficient service.
At the 2009 RCI Industry awards ceremony, Cheryl received the prestigious Legends Award The timeshare equivalent of the Hall of Fame
Cheryl holds an NQF Level 4 Competency Certificate from Seta Services in conjunction with the Estate Agency Affairs Board.

Timeshare Sentinel currently holds an on-site Developer mandate at the Drakensberg Gardens Golf & Leisure resort in the Southern Drakensberg with the Gooderson Leisure Corporation. Furthermore, an off-site mandate to sell Developer stock in all the Gooderson Leisure properties around the country has been secured. This includes both timeshare sales and rentals.
The resorts covered by our mandate include the Fairways resort, Riverbend Chalets, Mountain View Cottages, Mtunzini Forest Lodge, Bushlands Game Lodge, Natal Spa Hot Springs & Leisure resort, Monks Cowl and Kloppenheim Country Estate.

With in excess of 30 years experience in Resort Management & Sales, Cheryl Gooderson-Otto�s skills are well known in the industry culminating in receiving the coveted RCI Legends Award in 2010.
For 13 years, she managed the prestigious 62 units at Fairways Gold Crown Resort in the Southern Drakensberg as well as the Riverbend Chalets consisting of 18 units located on the same property. Together with her team, not only did they maintain the Gold Crown rating at Fairways but she also managed to upgrade the Silver Crown rating of Riverbend to Gold Crown during her tenure at the resort.
As a result of her continued efforts and successes, she was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer � COO of the Gooderson Leisure Corporation, a listed Company. During her time with the company, she was responsible for the entire Timeshare Division including operations, financial, administration and sales for 8 separate Shareblock entities which comprised of 238 individual units.

With in excess of 25 years of experience in the timeshare industry, Mike Otto is responsible for our Resort Development Consultancy service.
Prior to joining Timeshare Sentinel, Mike held the position of Group Acquisitions and Development Manager at the Gooderson Leisure Corporation, a listed company.
He was responsible for identifying various timeshare development opportunities and submitting comprehensive feasibility studies on the properties to both the Chairman and Board of Directors.
